Seville, capital city of Andalusia, is the starting point of our brief journey across the Spanish south. The city nowadays stands out both for its liveliness and incredibly well preserved historical heritage. We will visit on foot the neighborhoods of the Old Town and the Real Alcazar, a Muslim residential fortress eventually converted into a Royal Palace. We will continue with the Giralda bell tower and Saint Mary of the See, the largest cathedral in the world.
In the evening we will be served an excellent tapas dinner before going to a Tablao for an authentic Flamenco singing and dancing show.
At the start of our second day we will set off for Córdoba. About halfway through, we will stop over to visit a Bull Breeding Estate where herds are raised naturally. We will enjoy a little stroll after the morning drive and watch the formidable creatures, grazing freely amid a bucolic landscape of open woods.
After arriving in Cordoba, we will discover its old Jewish Quarter and the immense Mosque-Cathedral, breathtaking on the inside because of its dense forest of more than 800 pillars and splendid mihrab. After dinner, we will enjoy from premium seats an Equestrian Show performed in a beautiful16th century building.
On the third day, we will travel to Granada. On arriving there, we will first relax in the Generalife Gardens. We will then explore Alhambra palace complex, exhibiting Spain’s most significant Islamic architecture. In the evening we will walk across the Granada Medieval center, visit the Arabic-influenced Souk and, finally, the astounding Gypsy Caves.
On the following day, we will be transferred to the Granada Airport for a connecting flight to another destination in Spain or Portugal and more days of fun!
