We will explore on foot the heart of this city founded more than 2000 years ago, in the age of Augustus, first Roman Emperor. We will discover together charming hidden corners of the ancient Gothic Quarter and of the lively Born Quarter. It is here where the past of Barcelona merges with the life of the world’s greatest painter of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso, who came to live to this city as a teenager. We will visit the Picasso Museum, to learn about Pablo’s first years in the world of the arts and the path that led him to international fame. We will also enter the splendid Gothic Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, visit the city’s ancient Roman walls, the old Cathedral area and the old Jewish Quarter.
