We will visit three different hidden treasures of the city, somewhat distant from the city center but that a curious traveler should never miss. Our first destination will be one of Antoni Gaudí’s less known masterpieces, the Güell Crypt. It was declared a World Heritage Site because of its outstanding artistic and architectural merits. We will also explore the beautiful and very well preserved old Güell factory town where the Crypt is located. We will then travel to the elegant neighborhood of Pedralbes and stop at the entrance of the Güell Pavilions, protected by an open-jawed dragon shaped into a wrought-iron gate. To make the most of the day, we will also visit the huge Gothic cloister of the Royal Monastery of Pedralbes, founded in 1325. We will end our tour with a nice stroll and tapas light lunch in the old Sarrià neighborhood.
