Seville, capital of Andalusia, is the starting point of our whistle-stop journey across the Spanish south.

The city stands out both for its liveliness and incredibly well-preserved historical heritage, which we will experience firsthand as we walk through the neighborhoods of the Old Town towards the Royal Alcazar, a Muslim fortress converted into one of Spain’s most stunning Royal Palaces.

We will continue with the Giralda bell tower and Saint Mary of the See, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world.

We top off this day full of tradition with an excellent tapas dinner and an authentic Flamenco singing and dancing show at one of the city’s many Tablaos.

At the start of our second day we set off for Córdoba. To break up the journey, we will visit a breeding estate where Spain’s famous bulls are raised naturally.

We’ll stretch our legs as we watch the formidable creatures grazing freely amid a bucolic landscape of open woods.

Once we arrive in Córdoba, we will set about exploring the old Jewish Quarter and its immense Mosque-Cathedral, whose dense forest of 800 pillars and splendid mihrab will leave you dumbfounded.

After dinner, we’ll take our premium seats at an equestrian show performed in a beautiful 16th century building.

For the third day our destination is Granada. On arriving, we will first relax in the Generalife Gardens, a former country estate belonging to the city’s rulers and now a green oasis in the city center.

We will then explore the Alhambra palace complex, perhaps Spain’s most striking example of Islamic architecture.

In the evening we will walk across the Granada Medieval center, visit the Arabic-influenced Souk and, finally, the astounding Gypsy Caves.

On the fourth day of our tour we will transfer to Granada Airport for a connecting flight to another destination in Spain or Portugal, and more days of fun!

Sit back in your seat and reflect on the rich tapestry of south Spain.
