We start our tour with a visit to the Royal Alcazar, a beautiful palace of Arab origin with gardens, fountains, and decorated arches.
The palace was rebuilt by the Christian Kings in the 16th century, and today many rooms conserve the intricate, ornate tiles from the rebuild.
Our tour then takes us on to the magnificent Gothic Cathedral, which is the largest in the world as measured by surface area.
Construction began in 1401 on the site of the old city mosque, and the impressive Almohad minaret (the Giralda) and the beautiful Patio de Los Naranjos from the mosque remain to this day.
Outside the cathedral, we will take a horse carriage for a traditional and comfortable tour of the city’s most emblematic sites, including the Maria Luisa Park.
The horse and cart will leave us at the Mercado de Triana, where we will attend a display of Andalusian cuisine at its finest: show-cooking of the region’s best-known food, followed by a meal of the very same dishes.
A relaxing after-lunch boat trip along the Guadalquivir river finishes off the tour nicely.
If you haven’t had your fill of Sevillian culture, however, we offer the chance to attend a Tablao Flamenco show later in the evening.
