We will travel to Figueres, hometown of Salvador Dalí, the iconic and controversial Catalan genius of the 20th century.
Figueres houses the biggest surrealist object in the world, the Dalí Theater Museum, where we will stop to worship at this shrine of the surreal.
Once we’ve had our fill of Salvador’s subconscious, we will continue on to the town of Girona for a relaxing afternoon in one of Spain’s medieval highlights.
Our first stop is the old quarter, where you’ll be taken aback by the colorful houses that line the city’s river.
We will then visit the Cathedral of Saint Mary, famous for its Gothic single nave (the world’s widest!), enjoy the elegance of the Tower of Charlemagne, and marvel at the Cathedral’s treasure.
The tour will end in the Call, the old Jewish quarter of Girona.
