The ideal place to dive into history and relive the days of the old Roman Empire in Catalonia: Tarragona, or Tarraco to the Romans, was the most important provincial capital in the Western Mediterranean.

We will visit the ancient town walls and circus of this UNESCO-listed city, which housed a monumental Forum bigger even than the one in Rome.

After, we will enjoy breathtaking ocean views from the amphitheater.

The original city layout will gradually become clear to us, and we will understand how the development of the city center is the result of the accumulation and recycling of old buildings, repurposed for modern use.

We will also visit the Medieval Cathedral of Tarragona, located in the Provincial Forum, where the Temple of the Emperor Augustus sat in days gone by.
